Privacy Policy

Last updated 7 August 2026

The short version: there is no account, so there is no profile. We process what is needed to turn your link into a file, and not much else. The rest of this page spells out exactly what that means.

What we do not collect

  • No account, username, or password — registration does not exist.
  • No email address, name, phone number, or payment details.
  • No advertising or analytics trackers, and no cookies set by this site.
  • No copy of your converted file kept after delivery.

What we process when you convert something

Submitting a link creates a job record so the conversion can be tracked and the download authorised. That record holds:

  • the link you submitted;
  • the output format you chose;
  • which brand site and hostname the request came through;
  • identifiers returned by the processing provider, and the media title it reports;
  • the job's status, progress, and any error code; and
  • timestamps for when the job was created and last updated.

The record is keyed by a random job identifier. It is not linked to a person, because we have nothing to link it to.

Download links

When a file is ready we issue a signed, single-use download link. We store the one-time value behind it, its expiry, and whether it has been used — that is what makes a copied link useless to anyone else. It expires within minutes either way.

The file itself

Converted media is streamed through to your browser as it downloads. It is not written to storage on our side and there is no archive of past conversions to browse or leak.

Third parties

The link you submit is sent to a third-party media processing provider, which retrieves the media and returns a file. That provider receives the link and the requested format, and handles the data under its own policies. The site is served from a cloud platform that, like any host, processes standard request metadata such as IP address and user agent to deliver traffic and protect against abuse.

How long records are kept

Job records and expired download tokens are retained for [retention period], then deleted. Platform-level request logs follow the hosting provider's own retention schedule.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Because we hold no identifiers, we usually cannot connect a past job to you — which also means there is little for us to hand over or erase. If you think we hold something about you, write to support@vidssave.top and describe it as precisely as you can.

Children

The service is not directed at children under [minimum age], and we do not knowingly process their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
